We had a fine warm day for our tournament. 74 players were booked to play but there were 4 cancellations and one no show which delayed the start a little. Two look up operators were booked but we had only one printer so one person went home and we managed ok.We welcomed a Canadian visitor Glen Mosher
The most games won by a player were achieved in section D where Veena Mohe had 6 wins to gain her first place. Her husband came second in section B with 5 wins and both Veena and Ram won the high game scores. Ram with 568 and Veena with 455. Ram had the highest rating gain of 85 points and Veena next with 59 points. Well done Ram and Veena.
Peter Shaw had 3 high word scores of 110 points each word exalted, annexing and overlet and Peter also got the high game of 561 giving him second place to Jean Mc Giffen.
