It was pleasing to see four young male students from Plumpton High School nearby taking part for the first time. Plumpton is probably our most successful school scrabble group in terms of numbers, due to the enthusiasm of their teacher co-ordinator, Susan Pitt. Curiously none of these kids had ever attended a Baulkham Hills schools event. Maybe they didn't ever know they were on.
